La Dolce Vita Winery, Restaurant, and Bed & Breakfast
| La Dolce Vita Winery, Washington,
Missouri was established in 1994. Two acres of Norton grape vines were
planted and the first crop was harvested in 1997. This vintage produced
25 cases of fine red wine which was aged in new French oak for one year.
Our wines have won numerous awards in local and national competitions.
we are unable to have a tasting room at the winery because of zoning restrictions.
In 2002 we opened our first tasting room in Downtown Washington. Today our facility is located in the 1846 Zachariah Foss House which overlooks the Missouri River and the Riverfront Park. La Dolce Vita produced wines are featured along with numerous domestic and international selections. Our restaurant offers gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads. The restaurant terrace seating offer terrific views of the Missouri River. A two bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located on the third floor. |
